Mod_jrun20.so Problem... not found

OS: RHEL 4
Apache: 2.0.52
Coldfusion: 7.0.1

I have done a TON of research on this problem trying to fix it PRIOR to posting here.. Here is the problem, when I start apache, I get this:

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 907 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /opt/coldfusionmx7/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun20.so into server: /opt/coldfusionmx7/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun20.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]

Now, here is what I have done so far:

I have commented out the LD_ASSUME lines in the coldfusion start script
I have chcon'd the mod_jrun20.so file to reference the httpd file
I have turned off the SELinux stuff by setting SELinux=disabled in the /etc/selinux/config file
I have checked to make sure that /opt/coldfusionmx7/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/mod_jrun20.so does indeed exist

At this point I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If any more details are needed just ask. Coldfusion seems to start just fine.

I'm wondering if this could be a versioning problem? I have done some more research. This time in the field of apache modules and I have found that if the compiled version doesn't seem to match... another interesting thing that could present a problem but I am not sure how to fix, or what this could mean... but I think this definitely has something to do with it....

if I file mod_jrun20 i get this
mod_jrun20.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), not stripped

if I file any of the other modules in the directory you asked me to find, I get this:

mod_access.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_actions.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_alias.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_asis.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_auth_anon.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_auth_dbm.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_auth_digest.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped
mod_auth_ldap.so: ELF 64-bit LSB shared object, AMD x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), stripped

All of them are 64-bit with AMD... could this be the problem? If so... what can I do to fix it?

YAY, I found the answer. I was on the right track about the 64 bit thing... I figured I was going to need to recompile the mod_jrun20.so with the 64 bit option... so I found this page

http://www.van-sluis.nl/php/index.php?dest=coldfusion

I had first gone to another page (documented at the bottom of the link I posted) and it gave me the exact error referred to on that page. After rebuilding and tinkering around a bit... it works.

I have seen this problem few times already. What you will need to do is to move mod_jrun20.so to Apache's own shared object directory. I do not remember the exact location of it, plus it could be different depending on your Apache installation. Just do a search for .so files and you will see a directory where Apache keeps its own .so files. Put mod_jrun.20 there. After that make sure you edit httpd.conf file and provide a correct path to it in JRun section. Once you do that, restart Apache and you should be fine.
The reason for this is apperently Apache sometimes does not recognize any .so files that are located outside of Apache's own .so folder.

I tried this and got this:

Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 907 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jrun20.so into server: /etc/httpd/modules/mod_jrun20.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[FAILED]

Same thing... sucks cause this was an idea I had not yet tried... anything else? I can tell you that I have DEFINITELY placed that file in *THAT* directory, but still thinks it isn't found. I've also put the appropriate commands in the conf file (as above). SELinux is still disabled too, and I chmod'd the mod_jrun20.so 777. Let me know if there is something else it should be. It tells me a syntax error, here is what the few lines in the conf file look like...

# JRun Settings
LoadModule jrun_module modules/mod_jrun20.so
<IfModule mod_jrun20.c>
JRunConfig Verbose false
JRunConfig Apialloc false
JRunConfig Ssl false
JRunConfig Ignoresuffixmap false
JRunConfig Serverstore /opt/coldfusionmx7/runtime/lib/wsconfig/1/jrunserver.store
JRunConfig Bootstrap 127.0.0.1:51011
#JRunConfig Errorurl <optionally redirect to this URL on errors>
#JRunConfig ProxyRetryInterval 600
#JRunConfig ConnectTimeout 15
#JRunConfig RecvTimeout 300
#JRunConfig SendTimeout 15
AddHandler jrun-handler .jsp .jws .cfm .cfml .cfc .cfr .cfswf
</IfModule>

What am I doing wrong?
