MSAccess data sources CF10/Linux???

In previous versions of CF(Solaris and now Linux) we have been using an odbc-jdbc bridge to talk to ODBC data sources on Windows. This is no longer working with our EasySoft jdbc-odbc bridge on CF10. I am looking for solutions that dont involved dumping the data into something other than MSAccess. Direct access to the Access db file on Linux? a different odbc-jdbc driver that can connect remotely. Anything!!! Has anyone out there been able to do this???
