Multiply Verity Collections?

We are currently migrating/consolidating our CF6.1 Multiserver farm to CF8 Multiserver servers. Our old servers were Solaris and our new servers are Windows. We noticed that when we create the Verity collections on the new servers, the collection created shows up in ALL of the instances on a given server rather than just the JVM in which it was created.
This isn't really a 'problem', but it is unexpected. Is this a 'feature'? I would rather that these NOT show up in other JVMs. Thank you in advance for your help - Jacques

It does that because all installs of CF are pointing at the same verity server. It's normal.

You can change the Verity settings under Data&Services->Verity K2 Server. However, I don't believe you're permitted to do much with the included Verity server with regards to different instances.
