MX 8 Archived Logs location

What happens to the log files when the archive log action is clicked under Log Files in the Enterprise Administrator?
Prior to MX 8, the log file was copied to a file with a number appended to the file name and left in the logs folder. In MX8 that is not happening so either the archive action isn't working or the file is being put somewhere else.

    I somehow doubt that this functionality was broken in 8.0...but you never know.

    I loaded the update on my stagging server and the before and after testing indicates that I was experiencing an issue with the 8.0.0.176 release that was corrected with the 8.0.1release

    Yea I'm looking at the correct directory. I see the active log file just fine (the new initialized image).

    Are you sure you're looking in the right directory? The archive process is working exactly as expected on our test server. (CF 8.0.1)

    I just archived the "exception.log", and confirmed on the file system that the "exception.log" file was properly truncated, and a file named "exception.log.1" was created.
