I am having the toughest time fixing this navigation .cfm. The site owner accidentally deleted something and now the nav bar appears to the left and kicks the site content underneath it. Here is the code to the nav bar which is where the error is coming from:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

in this line (which i see by viewing the source of your page):

<tr><a

contenteditable="false"
href=" http://0-infotrac.galegroup.com.elibrary.mel.org/itweb/lom_accessmich?db=WDIRN"
unselectable="on"></a>

the <tr> tag should not be there. remove it. add </td> after the </a>.

done.

I appreciate all of your help. As you probably have guessed I am new to ColdFusion, and I am trying to help with this website since the web developer before me has left no contact information. It's for a library, the website can be seen here: http://hart.lib.mi.us/

I think things went wrong when they were editting the nav.cfm in Dreamweaver.

Thanks again!

there is a wonderful firefox plug-in called firebug - with it you can
edit your html/styles and see results right away in the browser.

you question has really nothing to do with CF.

Or else, open your navigation.cfm in Dreamweaver, get into the "Design Mode" and check what went wrong.
