need to install security hotfixes on coldfusion 8.0.1 and coldfusion 9.0

we have not applied any security hotfixes till now. Can we directly goahed and install the latest security hotfixes  APSB12-21.

Please help me on it and let me know if Any processing steps to follow to install the security fixes(like one after another hotfixes)?
