new to cf help

Question

I am using a Mac dreamweaver 7 and cf mx 7. Im trying to do
the tutorials but im getting stuck when im directed to set up a
test server, not sure what to put in for (what url would you you
use to browse to the root of your site)

http://localhost/coldfusionmx7tutorial.com/
this is what i have entered but its not working can some one help
me

try http://localhost:8500 This should give you a list of what is
in your wwwroot file. (yours could be just http://localhost )

You should have a folder in CF folder named wwwroot.
This is where you would store your CF based web sites.

The tutorial folder is at:
http://localhost:8500/CFIDE/gettingstarted/experience/index_content.cfm
