Newbie question - Can Coldfusion run on Unix?

Hi. I apologize for the newbie questions,

- We're a Unix shop and don't want to run our server-side tech on a Windows box. Can Coldfusion run on a Unix server?
- We're an educational institution. How expensive is it to get Coldfusion and run it on our systems? Is there a free version?
- We need a robust CMS solution, on the level of SharePoint. Does Adobe offer something in this area? I know about Contribute but need a comprehensive solution that's inexpensive/free. Thanks.

Thanks.

Your first 2 questions can be answered by simply going to the ColdFusion product page on adobe.com.
    http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/?ogn=EN_US-gntray_prod_coldfusion_home

If you want an open-source version, there's Open BlueDragon
    http://openbluedragon.org/

As far as CMS alternatives, if you google it (as you could have with these first 2), you'll get many alternatives.

Don't apologize for the newbie questions. Apologize for not taking 30 seconds and googling for your own answers.
