no icon or program related to the .jar extension so I cannot install.
I downloaded the coldfusion developer edition, but there is
no icon or program related to the .jar extension so I cannot
install. What am I missing? THanks.

Are you trying to install it on a Windows machine? if so be
sure to download the windows installer that is an
executable.
