Offline reports

I am looking into creating interactive reports that can work offline.

For example.

A user would download a PDF file containing a report within which they can adjust filters (date ranges etc) and then query embedded data within the document.

Is this possible with coldfusion?

Or something similar

    Yes just taking a look at that.... that could be an option.

    It appears that there is no way to embed data within a pdf.

    well if you're feeling feisty, might try posting this to the iText list (iText

    lib drives cfdocument, etc). if nothing else bruno's response might be

    entertaining

    seriously though, AIR is probably the best choice for this sort of functionality.
