I doubt whether you will find anyone who has built a dynamic organization chart entirely using ColdFusion. I say that because, as far as I know, you cannot achieve such functionality with ColdFusion alone.

ColdFusion has developed to become an application-server that enables you to do many dynamic things at the back-end. That is, server-side.

Alongside this development, many front-end languages have also emerged. Some new, like JQuery, Angular and React, others, like Javascript and CSS, rejuvenated versions of old languages. They are client-side, and are the presentation specialists.

So, if you insist on usng ColdFusion as back-end for your dynamic organization chart, you will also need front-end assistance.
