parsexml crashes server

I am fiddling with xml for the first time. Running the code below, the browser keeps thinking about it but eventually the web server crashes and I have to reboot the server. Nothing is ever returned from the cfdump. I am running mx7. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Please share the XML file size that you are using... Also please verify that the XML that you try to parse is a valid one or not..

    The file size is 11kb.

    While the xml properly displayes in the browser, it seems to fail some online validators I used. This is the document:
