Performance monitor causing CF8 error

I ticked the performance monitor option in the main debugging pane of the CF8 admin (dev edition) and now the server won't start. Where can I find the file to edit to set this to off?

    Hi,

When I open CFadmin and choose:

    Debugging & Logging >

there is no performance monitor only these:

    Debug Output Settings
    Debugging IP Addresses
    Debugger Settings
    Logging Settings
    Log Files
    Scheduled Tasks
    System Probes
    Code Analyzer
    License Scanner

    Perhaps you mean?

    Server Monitoring > Server Monitor

Since CF does not start is there an error? Perhaps details in Windows Eventviewer Application log? Or entry in CF\runtime\logs\ OUT or EVENT log?

One last place I can think to look is CF\runtime\bin\HS_ error log?

    HTH, Carl.

    Hi,

What are the options to select on the Debug Output Settings page?

This is from the top of "hs_err_pid1040.log":

#An unexpected error has been detected by Java Runtime Environment:
    #
    #  EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x0000000007a8103f, pid=1040, tid=2932
    #
    # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (10.0-b19 mixed mode windows-amd64)
    # Problematic frame:
    # C  [PerfmonClient.dll+0x103f]

    Thanks,
