Performance Monitoring Toolset - Alerts

Just getting started using PMT and trying to test out the "alerts". 

I have one alert set up - System CPU Usage when CPU is 75% on average for the past 300 seconds.  

I get alerts quite frequently even though PMT's System CPU graph for that same server consistently show less than 10% CPU usage with no spikes.

Any idea why these alerts are getting sent?
