Problem with cfimage writetobrowser

I am using cfimage to write a binary image out to the browser that I pull from a DB. It is sort of working, but it only displays the top half of the image. At a certain point no matter what the image is it stops and the rest is grey.

Does anyone know why this is? I have verified the images are fine and are not corrupted.
