question about coldfusion

I got this sort of question. Our company has licenced coldfusion 9, can we pay to upgrade it to latest version? Or we need to buy new version? Which way will cost us less?

PS: sorry for asking this sort of questions like this, cause i can't find any sort of adobe support mail for official answer.

    I dont think they have an option anymore for upgrading from CF9 to CF2016. You will have to buy the full version.

    Find a local reseller and contact them to ask. Probably get  better response then direct from Adobe.
