RDS trouble with CF plugin for eclipse 3.3

This is probably not new, I have installed the plug-in from Adobe and from cfreport.org. I have done a manual install, followed the directions for both sites, read all available forums , but cannot get this to work. I am working my way through some paid for video tutorials, so I would like to be able to finish.

I can not get RDS to work, which is part of the ColdFusion Plug-in for Eclipse. The Eclipse version is 3.3.2. I have two machines, both Windows XP Pro SP2. I have checked firewall settings, they are both company machines, so I was able to grant exceptions to Eclipse and my localhost. I have checked all the settings on my local CF8 server. Obviously I run CFEclipse, and other plug-ins include SVN and Flex.

Although, I can probably do the tutorials and skip the RDS part, and still get something out of it. I would like to see if I can resolve this, plus , just came off of a month of bug hunting, so I'm in that mood. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Steve

Click Window > Preferences

Then click the arrow next to Adobe to expand it.

Now click on RDS Configuration.

Next click on the localhost and adjust your settings to reflect the server settings.

After you change the settings click Test Connection to see if it is working correctly.

Then click Apply and close the Preferences window and all should be good.
