re. ColdFusion 2021 Oracle database support

The ColdFusion 2021 Support Matrix https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/cc/us/en/products/coldfusion/pdfs/customer-case-study/ColdFusion_Support_Matrix.pdf.pdf

indicates that Oracle database support is only available in Enterprise edition, not Standard.
Is that correct?

Also, it says Oracle 18c and 19c.
Can it be used with 12c?

We're in the process of upgrading to 19c, but need CF 2021 to be used with Oracle 12c for a short while yet.

    Hi Chris,

     

    1. ColdFusion 2021 supports, Oracle 12c, 18c, 19c.

    2. ColdFusion Standard has limitation on Oracle DB connection however you can use it with Oracle JDBC thin driver(Not sure about the limitation of JDBC thin driver). 

    3. CF2021 is supporting Oracle 12c.

    Thanks very much for your prompt reply, Priyank.

    I see that the link I posted to the Support Matrix does in fact show Oracle 12c as well, but on another PDF doc of the same information (if you just Google coldfusion support matrix) it only lists 18c and 19c, so thank you for clearing that up.
    I shall investigate the Oracle JDBC thin driver, for use with ColdFusion Standard edition.

    For reference, the Support Matrix where it only lists Oracle 18c and 19c support, not 12c, is this one:
