REST Services always require recompile after OS patches

Each time the operating system is patched the RESTful services must be recompile or they throw errors when accessed. Version is CF 2018 on Windows 2016 server.

    The settings option "Allow REST Discovery" was not checked.  Checking this option has resolved the issue.

    I've never worked with the REST API in CF, so I had to look this up.

    Getting started with ColdFusion API Manager

    Scroll down to about 2/3 of the page and it's in the instructions to enable REST discovery.

    Just curious as to how you use REST in CF.
