Restructuring CF for High Availability

I've had mixed success and was wondering if i can get some input from regarding the best way to deploy multiple web apps across a cluster of 3 cf instances.

I have approx 20 little web applications within an IIS website which i would like deploy across the cluster.

Can anyone recommed the best way to go about this? Do i create one master ear file which encompasses all of the web apps with sourrce code?

Or...

Do i create a WAR file for each little web application and have Jrun pick them up once i drop the files into the server deployment  directories?

Is there a way to park all of the source code into one centralized location where it can be used vy all three instances within the cluster?

Id also like to mention that when i create a war file within CFIDE, even when i check the options to exclude CFIDE it still creates them within the package. is there a better mechanisim for createing EAR/WAR files other than the one provided by CFIDE?
