Error: ColdFusion is not defined

I am getting the Javascript error and the code is not going any further. Is there any thing specific to check for this one?
I checked the CFIDE mapping and its all there in the Coldfusion.

    Hi Sandeep,

    The example at sitepoint isn't correct. It tries to load http://localhost/userService.cfc and not from the /RIA/com/user/ folder.

    I am not able to run the example partly because I have not set up any database so the pop-up window layer will load with an database connection error. Still the "ColdFusion" js variable is defined in my index.cfm.

    I suggest you download Firebug tool for mozilla and use the Net tab to find out if all javascript files were loaded.
