Security updates for Coldfusion

Does anyone know if Adobe release security updates for Coldfusion after the core and extended support periods have expired for that version?

They do not release security updated after the core support period has ended. As for the extended support you would have to check with Adobe.

Thank you for your quick response Peter, do you know if there is anything official from Adobe that states this? do you know this from experience?

I don't know if there is anything official but Adobe has not released any security patches (or bug fixes ofcourse) for CF7 or CF8 after the core support period has ended. That has been my experience.
