Select vs cf select

hi,
can any one tell me what the difference is and how i can use one witht the other.?
how can i make these 2 work ina form or template?

They both do the same thing. They present a drop down control (like the emoticon thing in this forum) in a form. The major difference is that in some cases, cfselect allows you build this drop down list with less code.

Details about and cfselect is in the cfml reference manual. If you don't have one the internet does.

Details about select are easy to find by googling <select>
