Server crash

Our server crashed two times since yesterday. I got the following out of the debug log

"Error","jrpp-92","04/10/06","11:31:58",,"Not enough storage is available to process this command The specific sequence of files included or processed is: C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\WEB-INF\exception\java\lang\Exception.cfm "

Server memory can not be the problem there is enough of free space left and the server has 2 gig ram.I have seen some other people here how got the same problem but i did not find a solution.

Well hope someone can help me out.

Greetings Nebu

For other users experiencing the same problem i had, the following solution worked for me:

    1) Relocating the pagefile to the biggest harddrive
    2) Installing the hotfix http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=aae43964

Well hope this will help anyone.

Has anyone noticed if the problem started AFTER install MS patches. In particular, MS06-013, MS06-014, or MS06-015? I just started receiving the problem and the only thing that has changed is that the following patches were installed. A day later the message started appearing. Now I have to figure out the best way to go about uninstalling the patches. I'm going to start with MS06-014.

Let me know if anyone else started having the problems after the patches were installed.

Hello, last week I was getting that same error. From what I was told, it was supposedly a Windows 2003 problem with corrupted SP1 files. When we contacted Microsoft, they had us do a repair installation of both Windows and the SP1 and the entire server pretty much died and would not boot up. I spent my entire weekend rebuilding my server from scratch... not fun!

I highly recommend you backup everything you have on your server. If possible, set everything up on a 2nd server while you troubleshoot this. If not, make sure you take notes of all your CF settings (i.e. mappings, datasources, custom tags, etc.) and then you may want to search the Google groups for that specific error which is Windows related and not CF related (supposedly).

After about 3 full days of rebuilding, my server is up and running great but I had to do a clean install of Windows 2003 and CF 6.1 and that seems to have fixed it.

    Good luck!

    Corey

Thanks for your response dollarwebs. I will follow your suggestions so in case i also need to reinstall my server i got my files. For now i relocated my pagefile for some reason i have the idea that the pagefile may be the problem. I do find it somewhat strange that this is a microsoft server problem because the websites that don't use coldfusion do run without errors.

Are you using client vars by any chance? And if so, are you storing them in the Windows registry?
