"server directory"

while using the enterprise manager to create a new server instance. there is a text box for "server directory" i would like to change this location. but no matter what i try i cannot edit this field. is there a way to change this location?

    CF10 instance creation does not seem to offer the "tomcat" directory as optional different to as before with CF9 CF8.

    The CF10 documentation does not indicate directory path is optional. Relevant section says:

    Server Directory - Specifies the server directory.
