Session Variable

CF's Session Variables, accessed via the SESSION scope, as opposed to CLIENT and COOKIE scope -
Does it require/use cookie(s) ?
Thanks

That is not entirely correct. When session management variables are enabled (session management="Yes"), ColdFusion automatically creates a session cookie that persists throughout the current browser session. Unique values for each visitor are stored in the CFID and CFTOKEN variables. The cookies are passed back to the ColdFusion server each time a page is read, reidentifying the client session variables to the server.

Now!!! If a user has cookies disabled you can still use session variables. See the Adobe LiveDocs on how to do that. Here is the link!

I just checked...
I think you're right, I still got the 2 CF cookies but they're NOT session-life, they're set to expire in 2036 !!!
