I'm using Cold Fusion 2016.

I know the ODBC DSN works because I can use Excel to connect to the same AS400 DSN using it.

As you can see in the screen shot I can also connect via the C:\ColdFusion2016\cfusion\db\slserver54\tools\ivcheckodbc.exe utility.

I've tried restarting, rebooting etc etc.

Any ideas?

I was able to fix this issue by applying UPDATE 17: https://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-2016-updates.html

In the Administrator page whose printscreen you've shared, click on AS400. You will get see the settings for the datasource. Could you please share them. Then we can have a look and see if they match the settings in the CMD screen.
