Greetings!

Periodically over the past few months we've been getting this error: "The requested instance is either invalid or not running."  It's being triggered on several different pages and on several different databases. All of our datasources validate in CFIDE and the website works as it should. Occasionally a user will have their session interrupted by this happening but when they refresh the page everything is working again as normal. I'd like to get it fixed, but all of the results I've found on Google seem to relate to if you can't get your datasources to connect at all.

Any help is appreciated!

P.S.:

We're running ColdFusion version 7,0,2,142559 and MSSQL Server 2000 on a Windows Server 2003 machine, if any of that is relevant.

    I am experiencing a similar issue.  ColdFusion MX 7 on Server 2003.  The databases are running on SQL 2005 and SQL 2008.
