UDF IMPLEMENTATION

Trying to replace a block of code with function.  Specifically, lines 6-14.  Code is located at http://pastebin.com/2A059LEE.  Fuction is  located at http://pastebin.com/PaqhHvWk.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    And what's the problem? Gotta be honest, it's a case of going through logically and commenting stuff in/out until you find it. I suspect you'll find most people on here have better things to do than do that for you

    You beat me to it.

    One thing I did notice before I decided to too-hard-basket it for the reasons you cite, I did notice the query variables aren't VARed.

    But I don't know what the actual question is here, so dunno what to say beyond that.
