Question

Unable to download ColdFusion 8

I have been trying to download CF8 all morning. I'm on a Mac and have been unable to download it using Safari, Camino, Firefox, and IE7 on Windows (running in Parallels). When I choose the download button, the page simply refreshes and nothing else happens. Anyone else having this problem?

i think it has something to do with adobe recently (?) switching to
email-as-username accounts only...
i remember seeing a notice on their website about updating your account
to match the new required format of username not long ago...

We have downloaded from one of other PC but not from some of them.

I suspect that would be because of having Adobe Download Manager but after uninstalling it looks like it is still same. Or it is not uninstalled as expected.

Something wrong ...

Strange. I'm able to download everything else I've tried on Adobe's site. Just not CF8.

Well it has something to do with my account. I logged in with a different account and can download it fine. Really strange.

I downloaded the Trial and Dev version about 10 minutes ago using Vista and IE7 with no problem - aside from being slow.

Same problem here on PCs.

FF/IE/Opera does not work with download site.

But I can download extensions or report builder.

Really strange!!!
