Unable to install CF 2021 on OSX 12.1 Monterey

When I try to install CF 2021 on OSX Moneterey, either with the unzip installer or GUI installer, the proces gets aborted because:

“java” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

 

Although you can often make an exception for certain files to run in the Security and Privacy settings panel, this one won't run.

 

Has the CF team abandoned developers who use OSX or is there something I'm missing?

    Hi,

     

    As of now we have not tested this with MacOS Monterey. We will update our support matrix once it is verified.

    Okay. Could you please at least make that clear on the download page?  I really do love using ColdFusion but this kind of developer experience combined with generally inconsistent documentation both in quaility and in style really becomes disincentivizing.
