Upgraded from CF7 to CF 8, now dynamic pdf layout is all messed up

Over the weekend, we upgraded from CF 7 to CF8, hotfix 3, and now, dynamic .pdf's that we used to generate based on database content is all messed up. The right hand margin changed from 1 to something like 2.5 inches, italics words now have spaces before and after the italics words. Any idea what's up?
