Hello,

I have full versions of 6 and 7 and want to upgrade. What would be the best way to accomplish this? Should I uninstall 6 and then install 7 or can I install 7 on top of 6? Any advice would ve greatly appreciated.

Installing 7 over 6 (same directory) is not a good way to go. ColdFusion MX 7 should go to its own separate folder and NOT into the same directory where CFMX6 is.

I have done many upgrades from 6 to 7 (Windows) by simply installing over 6 and did not experience any issues. Everything converted fine for me.
