Upgrading from CF 8.0.0 to 8.0.1 on a Windows 2003 32-bit server...

Upgrading from CF 8.0.0 to 8.0.1 on a Windows 2003 32-bit server. I believe I found the upgrade coldfusion-801-win.exe (383,809 KB). Is this the right one? ...and will I have issues upgrading my production with the version downloaded from an Adobe trial server?

Looking at the size, it seems like you have the CF 8.0.1 complete installer. If you have installed CF 8.0 in this server as Single Server install and now you want to install CF 8.0.1 in the same server as Single server, then you need to uninstall CF 8.0 and run the installer of CF 8.0.1

However, this is not the same with CF 8.0.1 updater. The updater updates existing CF 8.0 (say Single Server) to CF 8.0.1. The best practise to do so is to stop CF 8 services first and then run the updater.

If you want to install CF 8.0.1 in a new server, then run the installer of CF 8.0.1 which will install CF 8.0.1 as it is a complete installer not an updater which require CF 8.0 to be present on the server.
