What do i need to download for mssql?

Hi all,
I want to experience mssql-what version do i need to download-i'm a complete beginner on this one, thanks? Also is the datasource a nightmare to setup like mysql?!!

Try SQL Server 2005 Express

Creating a datasource is not a nightmare. However, O did need to tweak a few settings to make the datasource work. I found Matt Woodward's entry on CF + MS SQL Server 2005 very helpful. It describes what settings you may need to change and why. After reading his entry I had the datasource working in minutes.
