When will CF8.01 with 64bit support be released?

Does anybody know when the 8.01 updater will be released that will support Windows Server 2008 64bit? I have a Win2k8 64bit machine ready and waiting to be built and I want to know if I should just wait ... or should I reformat it with Win2k3 Server 32bit so I can do what I need to do.

    Your sir are a gentleman and scholar... I'm just going to download the whole package and install from scratch because it's a new server and it was just sitting there waiting for 8.01 for the 64bit support for Windows.

    A recent post of unknown authority to these lists said "April".

    ColdFusion 8.0.1 is available now! You can find the updaters here.. The new full versions of ColdFusion 8.0.1 are here, including the 64 bit installers. Remember, the trial, developer, standard and enterprise installers are all the same. It is simply the install options and license you input that will change what is installed.

    If you have an existing 32 bit install, you must re-install to move to 64 bit. If you have an existing CF8.0 installation that was never really configured or setup with many datasources, verity, etc. it is sometimes smarter to re-install with the new version versus updating from the old. This certainly applies if you know you have a really messed install. The updater is not likely to magically fix it. But, either path is appropriate based on your specific situation. Give it some thought before moving ahead.
