AFter hours on the phone with Microsoft to remedy this situation, the advice is to re-install Windows XP Pro.

This is an attempt to avoid that action, if possible.

Does anyone have a suggestion. All the methods outlined by Microsoft have been attempted.

Another install programme would be appreciated if Adobe will address it.

ANy assistance is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Albert

As you are asking your question to an audience of ColdFusion developers, you may not get very good answers.

A) These forums are not an offical Adobe support channel.  It is a resource provided by Adobe for users to share experience and knowledge.

B) You asked your question in the ColdFusion -> Getting Started forum, rather then a forum populated by Adobe Reader knowledgeable users.

Thanks Ian, for this clarification. I finally decided to re-install XP.
