Hi,

I have a strange problem. I have a multi instance coldfusion MX 7 server installed on a server. I have several instances created and linked with several IIS websites.

I did it with the java tool webserver configuration tool, but now when I try to add a new link with a new instance and a new website I got the warning message :

No available port could be found for Jrun Server XXXXX proxy service.

I  searched a lot on google but found nothing on that issue

I'm using the built in version. No upgrade was made.

Do you think I need to upgrade the version? Is it possible? and how?

What version of Java are you using?

Are the ColdFusion instances in question started?

    Hello,

We are using MX 7 on JRUN 4 on windows 2003 std 32 bits.

The instance of coldfusion and the iis website are both started and running.

    Ok.

But have you upgraded to a newer JDK/JVM?  Or are you using the built in version with JRun?

I've seen the connector tool do some weird and freaky things if you get out of the 1.4.2 version of Java with CF 7.
