WSS:// Secure Websocket

Hello,

I have an issue. When using web sockets over https with firefox and IE i'll get a message saying that connection is insecure. However with chrome or safari the websocket is connected reguardless. I think it has to do with one protocol being ws and the other being wss. Is the wss websocket supported? Any work-arounds (aside from redirecting the user away from https) on the pages i want to use websockets. Thanks for all your help
