Question

Colour showing much brighter in the photoshop canvas

The first image I have is on the Photoshop working canvas, and the red is much brighter.

And the second image is the screenshot of recent file when opening the photoshop. It is not the problem about saving or exporting the files, is just the screen showing different colours when performing on the canvas.

Either is CMYK or RGB files, the colours are different.

HELP!

As @D Fosse has noted, Photoshop and other colour-managed application programs rely on the display monitor ICC profile - it's used in a conversion that provides adjusted data to the screen based on its characteristics. There are default ICC profiles from manufacturers but sadly some of these seem to be pretty poorly crafted and plain inaccurate.

So I agree that using a calibration device (a sensor) which reads coloured patches off the screen to enable accurate characterisation - thus an accurate ICC profile. The Calibrite Display Pro is one such measurement instrument.

Plus, of course, images must have embedded ICC profiles (to define each image's colour space) and must be viewed using colour-managed applications.

    I hope this helps

Photoshop's Home Screen is not color managed. Another reason to not use it.
