Synchronize Color Settings in Adobe Bridge CS6 for Ps, Id and Ai (incomplete Suite)

Hello!
I am currently working on a Fotobook project in InDesign CS6, which requires synchronized Color Settings across Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Normally, one would do this in Bridge according to: Edit > Color Settings...

However, every attempt to do this leads to a pop-up window telling me that "Suite-Color-Management is not activated. Suite-Color-Management is only possible when an authorized Product is started at least once beforehand, to activate the function."

Does anybody know a way around this? Thank you for all help!

    Hi martinh

I suggest you try following this link

Error: "Suite Color Management is not enabled" | Adobe Bridge CS3, CS4, CS5

looks like it should work with later versions too

    I hope this helps

    Hello Neil!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, Steps 1, 2 and 3 didn't bring me any closer to a solution. In following the instructions on fixing permissions on the Adobe color cache folder, I was unable to even find the Folder "Adobe" within the Caches folder.

As I am working on an office computer as part of an internship, I do not have access to all the original installation information and must assume that the Adobe programmes were installed separately and not as part of the Suite. Will it be enough, to simply manage my Color Settings and Profiles in the individual programs (i.e. separately in Photshop and InDesign), or will the lack of synchronization mess up my chances at having a good end product?

    Thanks for your help!
