I am using a trial version of Adobe CS6 on Mac OS X Lion. I have installed the most recent updates for both softwares and now when I run the Color Sync Utility I get the following errors. Any support is appreciated.

I have this same issue and IT DOES MATTER! Nothing prints correctly unless I hold the shift key. This should NOT be happening when we pay a ton of money to Adobe

Don't see how it's the same problem, so I probably missed something. Please let us know where someone mentioned a printing problem.

I can not see light opacity watermark type images (10%)n InDesign or on PDFs in my user. Ok in test user

I can not see “watermark” images in Acrobat or in InDesign.

I have two PDFs that were created in InDesign on July 17th. Version 11.1.0.122 or close (not sure how many times Adobe has updated since that date.) This file has been professionally printed. I bought a new MacBook Pro Retina 15”, 16GB 1600MHz DDr3, Graphics AMDRadeon and I CAN NOT SEE some elements of THE IMAGES when I view the PDF in my user. The image element that is not showing up is a knocked back watermark with 10% opacity.

I CAN SEE THE watermark perfectly IF I SIGN IN AS A TEST USER.

I can see the watermark on my old laptop, they have been professionally printed, the techs at Apple can see the watermark, my husband can see the watermark on his PC.

I have worked with 3 geniuses at Apple . We have done everything we can to adjust the display, however the machine is 2 weeks and I see everything perfectly in the test user.

I have called Adobe tech support twice and they just give me InDesign workarounds and suggest using higher percentages of opacity. This is not acceptable since the image actually requires the low level of opacity that I’ve used.

Apple geniuses and I found this and we think it may be the problem, but the Adobe techs will not consider this.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to whether these corrupted files might be the source of my issue, and if so, how I might be able to fix this  corruption?

Has anyone managed to fix this issue?

I do a lot of printing and without these icc profiles, the colour is off.

We are seeing this same issue, on the same profiles.

If the profiles don't meet a defined standard, why isn't Adobe fixing them?

I'll open a Gold Support ticket with Adobe and point to this thread.

I have this exact issue. I have CS6 Extended on Mac 10.7.4. How do I fix this? Will downloading and installing Adobe Color Profiles help?

Assuming they show up in Photoshop or other ICC aware app’s and you can use them, just ignore the errors. All these described above appear to be LUT’s anyway (only useful in CS6 with the new LUT tools).
