Question

Why Images getting desaturated in all Creative Cloud Software(Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom)?

I have been trying a lot to solve this problem. Every software showing the same desaturated image while importing.

This is the Actual Image

This is the image I am getting while importing to the mentioned software

But when I export it from the software, I got the perfect picture. Inside the software its desaturated. I have tried everything including converting the color profile and all.  Could anyone help me out with this problem?

Be useful if you'd define exactly what software you're exporting FROM and INTO.

Yeah, it sounds like you're not exporting or saving the data with an embedded ICC profile. So it's RGB mystery meat. The 'other' products that are previewing the image data wrong are not color managed. OR they would match what you see IN color managed applications no matter the color space (sRGB or otherwise). If this is still unclear, upload the image in question exactly as exported and we can examine if indeed it's got an embedded ICC profile.

The difference in your screen captures looks like AdobeRGB profiled color getting an sRGB profile assignment.

If the image you are opening was color corrected in AdobeRGB, but was saved with no embedded profile, Photoshop would use its current Color Settings Working RGB color space to display the color. Here my PS Working RGB space is set to sRGB:

Hi

I think that you are probably working with a wide gamut display.

if so then, as long as you have a good display profile, the Adobe apps will be correct and your issue is probably that that display in conjunction with non colourmanaged apps will exaggerate the colour in images.

to view images using a wide gamut display you must use only colourmanaged applications. That’s the cost of entry to the world of wide gamut displays.

How can this hypothesis be proven? Have an accurate prepress proof made and compare it to the screen. I am willing to bet that Adobes apps are doing a great job of showing you a visual representation of the true meaning of the colours in your applications.

If your display profile of faulty that could also be responsible.

What are your colour settings (in Photoshop for example):

Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom are all color managed, and use the monitor profile to display accurate colors. (provided that you have a correct and sound monitor profile)

I'm guessing that you are seeing the "actual image" in an application without color management, which will not display accurate colors. These applications should be avoided, especially if you have a wide gamut monitor.

So what application are you viewing the image in?

What is your operating system?

And what is the make and model of your monitor?

Are all of your apps synced in Bridge?  It could be your work space RGB setting.  Hard to say, but that is my guess.
