2023 and Dreamweaver Crashes

Whenever I cancel an upload or download, Dreamweaver closes, crashes, goes away.

Work is lost because it doesn't open the previously opened docs when I re-open it (which works if DW doesn't crash).

How about a fix?

    Never had that happen personally.

    What are the steps you're using exactly?

    What version of the program and operating system are you using?

    FWIW, Dreamweaver has been moved to a minimum development status by Adobe. They only plan to make OS compatibility updates, possible security patches, and third party library updates going forward. If there is an actual capital B-bug in the process you're using to upload, there won't be a fix for it, aside from using a different method.

    Latest DW 21.3 Build 15593, PC new last fall w/ Win10.

    It's minimal with MS Office, Adobe stuff, broswer (Firefox, and others) but those are not running at the time.

    Upload files then click cancel.

    DW then disappears, shuts down, crashes, whatever you want to call it.

    @Dee28407999w8d7,

    I can't say I've experienced that either. My HTML files upload so fast, if I blink I don't see them transfer.

    Just curious, why are you aborting upload?

    Do you intend to abort uploads frequently?

    Is this the only time Dreamweaver locks up?

    Open Windows Event Viewer to examine your crash log.

    What is the faulting module that's causing Dreamweaver to crash?
