It is the full version of the program and has no limitations as far as functionality goes.

Are you sure your FTP credentials are correct?

One item many users forget, which causes upload issues, is the remote server's root folder. Most of the time, that will need to be set as www, htdocs or public_html, but could be anything (ask your hosting company if that field is blank in your settings).

To verify your FTP information, you could try downloading the Filezilla Client. If it also fails to upload there, something is wrong with your credentials. If it works, at least your site could be uploaded while troubleshooting continues in DW.
