A Click outside Manage Sites hangs/freezes/blocks Dreamweaver

When in the "Manage sites" dialog, a click outside of dreamweaver lets the dialog disappear. Dreamweaver is not accessible then anymore and has to be killed via task manager. This is true for the actual 21.2 Windows version, but has been around in at least the previous version. Super annoying of course...

 

Is anybody else observing that?

      @NetHawk ... I'm in the same configuration...

      • w10 last update
      • dw21.2 15523
      • open the manage site dialog box
      • clik everywhere, outside, inside, over new screen (I have different screens), over applications, over DW, over anywhere... nothing unexpected happens
      • work as expected

      could you please elaborate a scenarii, a step by step to reproduce... and perhaps also get a task manger screen shot, when DW froze ?

      Which OS?

      Which ver of DW?

      Is your app maximized and docked to frame or is it just floating freely over your desktop?

      • Win 10 (latest, but had this problem since months with then actual Win 10)
      • 21.2 (but had this problem with the version before too)
      • It's happening in both cases: maximized/docked OR floating freely

      I'm also using DW on a Mac, where this problem is not present. I really hoped the upgrade would fix that...

      I can't reproduce your Loss of Focus on Win 10 ver 21H1.  If it matters, I'm using DW 21.0

       

      Does Loss of Focus happen with any other apps?

       

      Are you using a single or dual display set-up?

       

      Have you tried Restoring Preferences?
