Question

A lot of bugs

I managed to build a somewhat functional site until DW started crashing. Also a lot of the functions don't work properly until i restart DW. Bootstrap functions well in workmode but fails to work once saved. By reading earlier post it seems like Adobe has given up on DW. If not I would appreciate if you could help and fix the bugs. Thank you

You're not talking with Adobe here, just fellow product users.  Adobe employees rarely visit this user-to-user community.

PART 1:  If Bootstrap doesn't work, that indicates a problem with file paths to supporting scripts and/or errors in your code.

1. Did you define a local site folder?

2. Does your site folder reside on your primary hard drive?  i.e. C:\MySite\

3. Have you validated code and fixed all reported errors?  Windows > Results > Validation... click the triangle to check document.

PART 11:  Crashes are abnormal.

Did you try Restoring Preference as shown below?

https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/restore-preferences-dreamweaver.html

Since late 2020, Dreamweaver is minimally maintained with security & compatibility updates but is not receiving any new features.

Hope that helps.  Let us know if you need more assistance.

Thank you. I have done everything according to the list you sent. The crashes occur with other Adobe products as well. I got the site to work but the CSS changes I make don't show once I publish the site. It only works while I'm working. I've saved all the files and rewatched tutorials to see If I've meiised out on steps. At this point I have given up on Dreamweaver and I'm  considering to do my website in Wordpress altogheter.

Are you uploading the support files (.css, .js, etc) when you upload your .html to the server?

It's fairly common for supporting files, like .css or .js, to be forgotten during an upload of an updated .html file.
