Hi, I am using a MAC version of Dreamweaver CC 2017 and I try to install add-ons server behavior & database, the system show ok, installed, but when I run Dreamweave, the options don't appear. I tried all, but not success. On Windows work well. Anyone can help me? Thanks

Use the extension from DMX Zone along with their Extension Manager (both are free).

DMX Zone's Extension Manager

http://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver

Deprecated Server Behaviors Panel Extension from DMX Zone

http://www.dmxzone.com/go/21842/enable-server-behaviors-and-data-bindings-panel-support-fo r-dreamweaver-cc/

IMPORTANT:  The deprecated server behaviors code is outdated.  It's not secure and the code won't work on  servers running PHP 7 or higher.  DO NOT USE this tool for current projects.  You should use another extension or learn to code your own in MySQLi (improved) or PDO.

Why will Adobe insist on deprecating the bindings panel?  What is their reasoning behind this?

I am sure there are some great wishy washy PR terms, but I would venture that the majority of php users like myself find the mySQLi extensions of Webassist to be very useful indeed. Why is MySQLi being ignored by Dreamweaver?

Excellent questions. Similar to the ones that I asked the Dreamweaver development team a few years back. Their answer was to be patient.

I now use the DMXzone PDO extensions for Dreamweaver. Maybe Adobe can buy them out and reneg on updating them like they did with ADDT from InterAkt.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!
