Adding CSS Keeps reporting as remote

When I try to attach my CSS file using 'File' attach Style Sheet if seems to go ok.

However when I try to edit my CSS I get a warning saying my CSS file is remote and can't be edited.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Is your local site folder defined and residing on your primary hard drive?  Example, C:\MySite\

     

    Did you save your document after attaching the stylesheet?  I ask because Dreamweaver can't resolve paths for you until you Save (Ctrl + S) your document.

    Hi Nancy.

    Yes I did save it. I always save files when I'm finished editing them.

    My site folder is in the correct folder, yes.

    However, I have fixed it so it now works, thanks.

    Please disregard.

    Dreamweaver was inserting the wrong path.
