Adobe apps not working on the MacPro 10.14.6

Having trouble with Adobe apps (especially DW 21.3) on the MacPro 10.14.6

DW loads normally but can't open site files already created.

The primary (and only) drive is not the standard internal drive, is an internal 2.5" sata drive via a pci slot.

Should I remove all Adobe apps currently in my “Applications” folder and reinstall them via the Creative Cloud app?

Please Advise? Thank You!

Are the brand new sites you create now accessible from DW... if so, what happens if you point to an old site on your hard disk ?

And do you have any STE files to hand (https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/using/import-export-dreamweaver-site-settings.html) ?

What happens if you import a site that way ?

Current Creative Cloud Desktop App doesn't work with older operating systems.

Is this related to your other post? https://community.adobe.com/t5/dreamweaver-discussions/dw-cc-21-3-on-macos-10-14-6-beach-ball-runs-on-and-on/m-p/13999485#M225666

If your computer experienced a lightning strike and you are unable to use some of the ports inside, it is possible other pieces are going. Also, as suggested in the original post, if your computer is unable to move to OS 10.15, we can only assume this is a pre-2013 MacPro that you are on and being that the computer is 10 years or older at this point, the best recommendation would be to update to a newer computer.

If you want to try going down the cleaner route, make sure to sign-out/de-activate your current license by loading DW and clicking Help --> Sign Out before using the cleaner.

I agree with everything @Ben107584 M said.  Adobe expects users to have the latest operating systems, no more than 2 versions back.

Catalina pre-dates, Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura.  And in a few months, Apple will release another new macOS—Sonoma.  Start saving for new equipment.

In the meantime, you can try using another code editor.  See links below.
